After several months of preparation the broadcasting team from the RadioSEEN.com TV and Radio Network packed up and traveled to Buckhead Atlanta, GA. Their task was to broadcast one of the largest music conferences of the year, Mix Show LIVE 2012 II. The conference is presented and sponsored by the Core DJ’s, which is one of the largest DJ organizations in the world. CEO Tony Neal and the Core DJ's bring DJs together for a power networking conference filled with artist showcases and panel discussions.
In attendance were independent artists from across the world, and over 800 DJs. Sone notable organizations that attended were the Coast To Coast DJs, Hittmen DJs, and Coalition DJs, all as one big family.
Friday’s discussions included “The Programmers Power Panel” with Program Directors like Hurricane Dave (WHAT) and Reggie Rouse (WVEE) as they gave tips on how to get your music played on local radio and building a name for yourself for all those looking to climb the radio chain.
Curren$y, Yung Joc, Trae The Truth, Nitti Beatz & Gangsta Boo were also a few of the artists making their rounds at MixShowLive & judged Coast2Coast New Artist Showcase.
The mega DJ conference also had a few surprises last night as DJs were treated to a private listening at Stankonia Studios of OutKast’s Big Boi upcoming album and a celebrity bowling party.
Kicking off on Friday and rounding out Sunday night, Saturday’s panels include “Creating Your Image” as well as Drumma Boy’s Official Birthday Bash. Other well renowned DJs including DJ Drama, Bigga Rankin and DJ Scratch are scheduled to take parts in panels and discussions this weekend.
T.I., Twista, Diamond, Rasheeda, and L.E.P. Bogus Boys also made their rounds Saturday during the conference. In addition, The Source’s L. Londell McMillan was a speaker on Sunday’s “The Industry Power” panel hosted by music manager and Waka Flocka’s mother, Deborah Antney of Mizay Entertainment.
The entire weekend’s events were streamed live by Tyro Broadcasting for RadioSEEN.com
